In more detail
Is the specification actually stated?
A price without a stated frame material, profile system and glass make-up isn't a specification — it's a figure. We check whether what you'd actually be buying is written down.
Glass and hardware detail
U-values, spacer bars, security hardware and handle finishes are often left as assumptions. We look at whether these are specified or simply implied.
Guarantee wording
What's covered, for how long, and by whom — the installer or the manufacturer — makes a material difference if something goes wrong later.
Deposit terms
How much is asked for up front, when the balance falls due, and what protection exists if the order changes or is delayed.
Whether it can be compared like-for-like
Two quotes for 'windows' at different prices are meaningless unless the products, glazing and installation scope actually match.
Pressure-selling red flags
Time-limited discounts, same-visit signing incentives and vague scope are worth flagging even when the underlying price looks reasonable.
Don't just compare prices. Compare what you're actually buying.
