Privacy notice
What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you keep over it.
What we collect
When you submit a quotation request or an enquiry, we collect your name, email address and, if you choose to provide them, your telephone number, postcode and organisation details. We also record the answers you give about your property or project, and any quotations or photographs you choose to upload.
We record marketing campaign parameters where present (such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), the page you landed on, the referring website, and an anonymous, randomly generated session identifier used to link your journey through the site.
How your documents and photos are handled
Uploaded quotations and photographs are stored in a private cloud storage bucket that cannot be read by the public. They are only ever accessed by the Glazora team, through short-lived, individually generated links that expire automatically.
Your documents are read by a person on the Glazora team as part of reviewing your enquiry. We do not run uploaded documents through an automated AI analysis system.
Emails and confirmations
When you submit a form, we send you a confirmation email and send an internal notification to the Glazora team so your enquiry can be actioned. These are transactional emails tied to the action you have just taken, not marketing.
We only send marketing emails if you have separately and explicitly opted in. That consent is never bundled into the submission of another form, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Analytics
We record anonymous funnel analytics events as you move through the site: the event name, the anonymous session identifier described above, the page path, any marketing campaign parameters, and — where relevant — the audience and buying stage you have indicated. These events do not include your name, email address or the contents of any document you upload.
We also use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage. Marketing campaign parameters are stored against your enquiry record so we can tell which campaign, if any, led to it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. Nothing is shared with an installer or other business unless you have specifically asked us to make that introduction, and only the details necessary for that purpose are shared.
Our technology and infrastructure providers (such as our hosting, storage and email providers) process data on our behalf under written agreements and cannot use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Uploaded documents and photographs are retained while your review or enquiry is open, and for up to a further 12 months afterwards, in case you return to it. After that they are deleted.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time by emailing enquiries@glazora.co.uk.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email enquiries@glazora.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
