If you gather three PVC-U quotations in Britain, there is a fair chance one of them is a VEKA system. It is fabricated by a very large number of companies, which means availability is excellent and pricing is competitive — but it also means quality varies with the fabricator, not the brand.
For homeowners, the practical questions are which VEKA range has been quoted, whether it is chamfered, sculptured or flush, and what glass and hardware are going into it.

Multi-point locking is standard on virtually all quoted ranges. Any claim of a specific security standard (such as PAS 24 or Secured by Design) should be confirmed on your installer's own paperwork for the exact door or window being supplied, not assumed from the profile brand.
